Safety Services

NORCON Environmental Services Ltd specializes in providing quality, experienced services in the field of safety consulting.

Safety consulting services are provided by Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (CRSP) and Certified Safety Professionals (CSP).

Safety based services include, but not limited to the following: 

  • Development & Implementation of Health & Safety Management Plans

  • Provision of on site, experienced safety professionals to represent both the client and contractors

  • Hazard Awareness Training

  • Job Safety Analysis (ISA) Training & Development

  • OHS Committee Training

  • Confined Space Training

  • WHMIS Training 

  • Fall Protection Training

  • Power Line Hazard Training


Environmental Services

NORCON also specializes in the completion of both Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments. Many of our assessments have been a pre-requisite to the approve financing for differing properties in excess of 1 million dollars.

Soil and water sampling services are available, with accredited Canadian Laboratories utilized for analysis.


 

 

Industrial Hygiene Services

Industrial Hygiene work at NORCON is carried and supervised by a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH). 

Some of the many industrial hygiene services provided by NORCON, include, but not limited to, the following: 

  • Asbestos, silica, respirable and nuisance particulate air monitoring

NORCON is currently a registered member with the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation (CALA). NORCON is currently enrolled in CALA’s quality control program for asbestos fiber counting.
